DIURNES

A collaboration begun in wartime conditions, first between Picasso and the phototrapher Andre Villers. Picasso had done a number of playful works in papiers découpées -- heads and figures of people and animals/ Villers and Picasso took a number of these and superi mposed them over photographs by Villers, forming composite works.
